My name is Aafke, also known as floofkins on the internet. I'm a (freelance) digital artist and animator based in the Netherlands. One of my main goals is to evoke a nostalgic feeling in viewers with my work. Specifically, by using an aesthetic in my work called ''frutiger aero''. It's gained a big popularity in the early 2000s and this style was included in lots of media back in the day. Since I was a child, I have had a great interest in this style and personally found it a pity that media nowadays is very simple and no longer has the feeling as it did back then. That is why I started illustrating it, to show more people how beautiful it was and how it could be!
